The UK tabloid The Sun on 17 July carries a page of columns and comments by ex-editor Kelvin MacKenzie. In one contribution, he writes: "I would like to thank the black cab driver who waived his £12 fare for relative of mine ... it was truly an act of random kindness. Sir, I salute you, whoever you are."
